My decision to go back to school for my Postgraduate studies in 2016 had been a very gratifying journey. The degree program had strengthened my practice as an artist and I am grateful for the tutelage of Dr Ian Woo and Adeline Kueh.

Art Brut remains an inspiration to this day but I found myself taking many other directions during the program - ranging from installation work, video, sculpture to painting. 

​

​The degree program afforded me the luxury of time and space to experiment and develop as an artist. Central to my research was the use of paint, paper and clay. The versatility of these materials allowed me to create anthropomorphic forms both on 2 and 3-dimensional surfaces.

 

This culminated in my final year presentation, You, at our postgraduate art exhibition titled, Maybe in April 2017.
